Next Saturday, September 5 at 9:30 p.m. in the Julio Iglesias Auditorium, the movie "Girl" will be screened.

Synopsis:

Lara is a teenager who was born with a male body, but who feels like a woman. Unfortunately, his physique does not correspond to his mental orientation and convictions. It should not be easy at all to assume that nature has not been exactly fair to itself since the beginning of existence. And the path to reverse that tremendous mistake can become a very painful journey and difficult to overcome.

Lara is that young woman who has it clear, too. At just sixteen years old, he is taking whatever steps he can to restore what fate has stolen from him. He's already taking hormones. And also, he has a father who fully supports him in the difficult journey that lies in wait for him in his future. Our protagonist is waiting for that long-awaited operation that restores what creation has taken from her and with it, manages to leave behind the hatred that her own body desperately provokes in her. Also, Lara would like to be a dancer.

Lara is played by Victor Polster. His performance is worthy of the utmost admiration. Get to awaken empathy, suggestion, mystery and attraction. His silences come to tear our soul. And with the special difficulty of being present in each and every one of the film's scenes.
