The Youth Department is going to carry out a new First Aid Techniques course.
It will run from May 31 to June 12, Monday to Friday from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The registration fee will be € 20.
The main objective is to provide the necessary knowledge to be able to act in an emergency and attend to the victims, applying first aid, both non-emergent and emergent, in their daily environment. Mainly intended for civilian personnel, monitors, security personnel and others who carry out their work with the public. In addition, this training is aimed at acquiring the fundamentals, skills and attitudes necessary to be able to handle basic CPR equipment.
The contents will be:
Block 1
- First aid concept and types.
- Principles in basic and general 1st aid.
- Primary and secondary assessment and examination of vital signs.
Block 2
- Medical emergency
Block 3
- Wounds
- Bleeding
- Poisoning and Poisoning.
- Thermopathologies.
- Injuries from living beings.
- Domestic accidents.
- Emergency delivery.
Block 4
- Public road accidents
- Trauma
- Mobilization and immobilization techniques.
Block 5
- BLS cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in adults and children.
- Airway obstructions.
