We all know that Benidorm and its surroundings offer idyllic plans and landscapes where you can enjoy practically any type of environment and a multitude of activities.
In particular, and this time we will talk about the beautiful 'Fuentes del Algar', which have reopened to the public for this summer after several months of stoppage and arrangements.
The Fuentes del Algar are located in Callosà d'Ensarrià, a beautiful town located just 15 km. from Benidorm and with lots of places of interest that are worth visiting. If you want to take a look at everything that this beautiful town in the Marina Baixa offers, you can visit our section "Excursions in the surroundings of Benidorm".
Well, the main tourist attraction in Callosà is perhaps the 'Fuentes del Algar', a natural area located 3 km from the urban center. Which have become one of the preferred options to enjoy a summer excursion different from the rest. The waterfalls and fountains that the river bed outlines in the area, together with its areas enabled for bathing, are the main attraction for families looking for a refreshing experience in an idyllic setting. In addition to having a great degree of conservation in ecological wealth, it also has tourist services and environmental education.
With an approximate route of 1.5 km in length along the Algar river, you can enjoy a unique landscape of limestone rock in which waterfalls and reservoirs of refreshing water are naturally formed. All this surrounded by an abundant typical Mediterranean vegetation. Without a doubt, a unique and different option if you want to spend a day of sun and bath without having to go to the beach.
As we have said, they were open to the public every day during this month of June from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with two entry shifts: from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
For the imminent months of July and August, the hours will be extended for two more hours, so you can visit them from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with an entrance window for adults, being possible to visit them:
From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
From 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
And from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
These entry intervals have been created to control the capacity, in this way, once the first shift is over, they will have to leave the park and let the next one enter.
For the conservation and maintenance of this spectacular natural park, the entrance fee is charged (quite cheap by the way), the price of which varies depending on the season and the age of the visitor:
In high season (from June 15 to October 15), these are the prices:
Adults: 5€
Retirees: 4€
Students or youth card: 4€
Adult groups: 4€ per person
Children (from 4 to 10 years): 2€
Groups of children: 1,50€ per child
